    Types of Bias Tape, Single Fold (SF) and Double Fold (DF)

    Single fold bias tape has two folds towards the center at the edges but is not completely folded in half. This means it has four layers of fabric in total (two at each folded edge). Double fold bias tape is folded once towards the center at each edge and then completely in half, resulting in a strip of fabric with four layers in total.
